Why “Yun”?

Yun (运) is a Chinese word associated with luck and movement. For us, it also evokes the way time moves through our lives. In Mandarin, yùn sounds roughly like “yoon,” with rounded lips and a falling tone. The English spelling is a friendly approximation.

In English, we say YUN-seer, with “yun” rhyming with “sun.” This is our English brand pronunciation; Mandarin has its own sound.

We see luck as a changing rhythm, something to reflect on with curiosity. Yun brings that sense of movement; Seer expresses the wish to see more clearly. Together, they hold the idea behind our name: Ancient wisdom. Clearer sight.
