YunSeer is currently an informational website about Chinese astrology and BaZi. You can read its pages without creating an account or providing your birth details. There are no birth-data forms, accounts, payments, advertising or visitor analytics on this version of the site.
The website itself does not use application cookies or local storage. Infrastructure services may process technical information to deliver pages and protect the website, as explained below.
2. Hosting and technical information
Cloudflare Pages hosts and delivers this website. When you visit, Cloudflare may process your IP address, requested page, request time, browser or device information, and related request or security logs to deliver content, maintain reliability and detect abuse.
Cloudflare operates a global network, so this technical information may be processed in countries other than your own. We have not confirmed a site-specific retention period or single storage location for provider logs. 3. When you contact us
If you email contact@yunseer.com, we receive your email address, the contents of your message and any information you choose to include. We use this correspondence to respond to your enquiry, provide support and handle privacy requests. Please send only the information needed for your question; you do not need to send birth details to use this website.
Correspondence is held in the email systems used to receive and answer your message. We keep it only as needed to handle your enquiry, follow-up and any applicable legal obligations. You may ask us to delete it. If we need to retain any part, we will explain why.
4. How information is used and shared
We use information for the limited purposes described here: operating and securing the website, responding to correspondence and meeting applicable legal obligations. Where a legal basis is required, these activities may rely on our legitimate interests in providing a reliable website and answering enquiries, or on a relevant legal obligation. The applicable basis depends on the information and circumstances.
We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising. Hosting and email providers may process information needed to provide their services. Information may also be disclosed where required by applicable law or where necessary to address a security incident or protect legal rights.
5. Planned birth-data features
A future YunSeer product may ask for your birth date, birth time, birthplace and relevant time zone to calculate a Four Pillars chart and prepare an interpretation. This website does not currently collect those details or provide a database for personal charts.
The future database provider, storage region and retention periods have not yet been selected. Before a birth-data feature opens, we will update this policy to explain exactly what is collected, why it is needed, which providers receive it, where it is stored, how long it is kept and how to request deletion.
Deletion requests and appropriate account controls are planned for that future product. They are not account features on the current website. We will provide the relevant privacy information and obtain consent where required before collecting new categories of information.
6. Your choices and requests
You can contact contact@yunseer.com to ask what personal information we hold about you, request a correction or ask for deletion. We may need proportionate information to verify that a request concerns your own data. Please do not send identity documents unless we explain why they are needed.
Depending on your location and the law that applies, you may also have rights to access, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy of certain information, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, or complain to a relevant data protection authority. These rights have conditions and may not apply to every type of information. We will explain any applicable limits when responding.
7. Security and policy updates
We aim to limit the information handled by the website and use reasonable safeguards for information under our control. No online service or email system can guarantee absolute security.
